Production Coordinator (BBC Studios Audio)
BBC is seeking a Production Coordinator to join its production management team at BBC Studios Audio.
This role will see you embedded within the audio production team. On a weekly basis, this would involve attending recordings across London recording studios and venues, such as the BBC Radio Theatre. There may be out of London recordings as well.
The successful candidate will report to the Junior Production Manager on a day-to-day basis.
Purpose of job:
To coordinate audio productions end-to-end, from onsite setup and presence at recordings to post-production and delivery, acting as the focal point of contact between production team members, talent, crew, venues and suppliers, the production office and sometimes audiences and live events. This will include providing support to the Junior Production Manager, Production Executive & Producers in securing and managing the arrangements for all the resources needed for productions and will require you to work on your own initiative as well as to be a part of a small production team.
The Co-ordinator will have an understanding of and commitment to the aims of Production; will be receptive to the needs of the full range of programmes, new technologies and new ways of working.
