The Help Musicians UK Record and Release Fund provides assistance to UK musicians in creating and sharing their music with a wider audience. This initiative aims to support artists by offering financial aid for studio time, mastering, and promotional activities related to their music releases.

The fund not only emphasises the artistic aspect of music creation but also prioritises the overall well-being and long-term business development of musicians. Recipients of the fund will receive up to £3,000 in financial support, enabling them to invest in their creative output.

In addition to the financial assistance, awardees will have access to one-on-one business advice sessions specifically tailored to their individual needs. These sessions will be conducted by experienced professionals from the music industry, providing valuable insights and guidance to enhance the musicians’ careers.

Recognising the importance of physical and mental health in the music industry, Help Musicians UK has partnered with the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM). As part of the support package, awardees will receive a personal health consultation, covering various aspects of their well-being. BAPAM’s experts will provide guidance and, if necessary, make specialist referrals to ensure the musicians’ overall health needs are met.

The Record and Release Fund is open to professional musicians in the UK across all genres and disciplines. It particularly focuses on independent music creators who are actively involved in controlling one or more aspects of their careers. Whether applicants are solo artists, composers, group members, songwriters, producers, or multidisciplinary artists, they are encouraged to apply for this valuable support.

No deadline specified: applications accepted on a rolling basis.
