The …virtuosic Fidelio Trio… (Sunday Times) are Darragh Morgan, violin, Tim Gill, cello and Mary Dullea, piano. Short-listed for the 2016 Royal Philharmonic Society Music Awards, the Fidelio Trio broadcast regularly on BBC Radio 3, RTÉ Lyric FM, WQXR, and have been featured on a Sky Arts documentary. Since their debut at London’s Southbank Centre, they have regularly appeared at the Wigmore Hall and Kings Place, as well as at many festivals and venues all around the world.

The Trio excels in the presentation of modern and contemporary as well as the classical piano trio repertoire so we have asked them to play one of the most iconic pieces of the 20th century by Arnold Schoenberg – first time in a Con Brio concert!

This concert presents two of the most well-known piano trios from the Romantic era. Beethoven's 'Ghost' Trio offers a journey through dramatic contrasts and mysterious beauty, while Schubert's Trio provides a rich tapestry of lyrical melodies and emotional depth. Together, these works highlight the expressive power and intricate craftsmanship of two of the greatest composers of the early 19th century, promising an evening of profound musical exploration and exquisite performance.

Followed by Meet the Artists reception. All welcome.
