Waterford City and County Council is inviting applications for the 2024 Specialist Arts Grant. This grant supports artists, arts creators, and professional community arts services in line with the Waterford City and County Arts Strategy 2016 – 2022, under its three main themes: Participation & Access, Support for Artists, and Identity and Place.

This grant adheres to Section 6 of the 2003 Arts Act, aiming to stimulate public interest in the arts, promote knowledge, appreciation, and practice of the arts, and improve standards within the arts sector.

The 2024 Specialist Arts Grant is specifically open to Screenwriters/Producers (film) and Playwrights/Producers (theatre). The deadline for applications is Monday, October 9, 2023, at 3pm.
