The European Union Youth Orchestra
The European Union Youth Orchestra announces a special performance in Dublin with its Alumni.
A socially-distanced chamber music concert recorded on August 22nd at the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) will be broadcast online on EUYO social media on Wednesday, September 23rd at 7.00 pm.
Presented in partnership with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI), the special pre-recorded concert is part of the European Music Gallery Festival 2020, a series of socially distanced chamber music performances involving a grand total of 292 EUYO members and alumni hailing from all 27 EU Member States and the United Kingdom.
The Dublin concert, with its 12 Irish EUYO alumni performers, many of whom are distinguished alumni of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, is a national concert for Ireland, as well as being part of a Europe wide project, representing the Orchestra in its role as cultural ambassador of the European Union.
