Programmes Manager (Pre-HE)

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking Programmes Manager. You will have excellent project management and people skills and a track record of working at a programme management level with young people/pre-HE projects.

You will: work and be responsible for a range of key development/enhancement activities within the Directorate of Business Development. These will include: quality Assurance projects across our pre-HE (Juniors and Short Courses) provision, management of the Juniors (DDPF) staff team, curation of Summer Schools (Music) provision, scoping of International Summer Schools, Music Leaders Awards: project management, defined research, evaluation and programme development projects, financial analysis, research and benchmarking for new concept testing, RCS Works/Agency business planning including line management

You will be expected to work within a complex and challenging environment; working across the Conservatoire and externally with a range of key collaborative partners. The post-holder will be confident in managing a diverse workload.

You will have: an arts/music/performance degree or equivalent professional experience; experience as manager in an educational and/or arts context; a good working knowledge of performance, repertoire and educational contexts in Scotland; excellent communication and ambassadorial skills.

Fixed Term Maternity Cover (9 months) Full-time.
