The Royal Academy of Music is currently looking for a Learning Technologist to join the Academy’s ICT team. You will act as the lead administrator for the Academy’s student record system (Quercus) and the Virtual Learning Environment (Blackboard Learn), providing an enthusiastic and proactive contribution to the design and maintenance of the systems. You will be the primary point of contact for answering questions and training Academy staff on the systems. You will also play a vital role in supporting improvement projects and with supporting users of the systems.

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals along with the ability to work independently and within a team. You will have previous experience of providing support and training users along with proven experience of administering VLE and other applications. A positive, customer focussed attitude is essential and an interest in music and a commitment to enhancing the student experience would be advantageous.
