The Arts Council of Northern Ireland, in collaboration with BBC Northern Ireland, is inviting applications for the Young Musicians’ Platform Scheme.

This biennial scheme offers up to six awards of £5,000 for young solo musicians, singers, and singer-songwriters in Classical, Jazz, Contemporary, and Traditional Music. Applicants must be aged 18 to 26 for instrumentalists or up to 29 for singers, must reside in or originate from Northern Ireland, and should not be in secondary education. Successful candidates will have opportunities for professional engagements, including performances with the Ulster Orchestra, from January 2025 to December 2026.

Applications must be submitted online by 12:00 PM on Monday, 11th November 2024.
