ICO embarks on a cycle of Beethoven’s five Piano Concertos over the coming three seasons years with acclaimed South African Pianist, Kristian Bezuidenhout. In October we hear his epic Piano Concertos Nos 1 and 3. This coming-of-age story, Piano Concerto 1 reflects a young Beethoven keen to make his mark on the world while Piano Concerto 3 is the music of an emerging giant powering towards ingenuity and deafness.
