Production Management Assistant Talent Pool – London

The BBC is now seeking applicants to join the Production Management Assistant Talent Pool in London, where the team covers a range of genres fincluding Music, Entertinment, Events, Documentaries, Science, and Factual Entertainment.

Applicants should already have TV experience, and want to follow a career path in production management. This is a varied role suited to an adaptable self-starter with strong organisational, interpersonal skills who can prioritise a number of conflicting demands on your time. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to forward plan, be pro-active and build relationships with various stakeholders.

Joining the pool will mean that you will be offered work as and when opportunities arise.

You will work closely with the Production Coordinator; juggling priorities between different teams, assisting with general administrative and logistical support to help ensure its smooth and efficient running of productions. The role will include booking travel and accommodation, helping set up shoots, creating call sheets, raising purchase orders, handling and processing sensitive data and documents and liaising with the rest of the production team, crews and contributors. You’ll communicate effectively across a large team to ensure deadlines are met and the editorial ambition is achieved.
