The Arts Council’s Reel Art scheme supports individual film artists and organisations in the creation of imaginative and experimental documentary films on an artistic theme for cinema exhibition.

Applications open on Tuesday 6 May 2025 and must be submitted by 17:30 on Thursday 5 June 2025. The maximum award available is €120,000.

Guidelines and application templates will be available approximately two weeks before the scheme opens.
