Waterford City's historic Churchyard will host 13 open-air concerts this summer. These free concerts, known as the Churchyard Sessions, will run every Saturday evening from June 3rd to August 26th.

Kicking off the Churchyard Sessions on June 3rd will be Richie Hayes and Band, followed by Paddy Casey on June 10th, The Unusual Suspects on June 17th, and The Papa Zitas on June 24th. Brass & Co will take to the stage on July 1, Mundy on July 8th, Thank Funk on July 15th, and Duke Special on July 22nd. Wrapping up July will be Liam O’Maonlaí on the 29th. The August Bank Holiday Weekend promises a Spraoi special. On August 12th, The Strobes will perform, followed by Mad Ferritt on August 19th, and finally Dave Lofts and Band will close the summer sessions on Saturday, August 26th 2023.

Alongside these Saturday events, Dave Lofts will be playing live each Friday night from 8 pm on the Quayside, near the Viking replica longboat.

All Churchyard Sessions are free and access is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each gig will commence at 8 pm, with support acts starting at 6.30 pm. The Churchyard Sessions are a joint initiative between The Reg Bar and The Munster Bar. Visit www.thereg.ie.
