TSEAC Singing Sessions
Join us for our new monthly Traditional Singing Session here at TSEAC where it’s all about the art of song. Singers and listeners welcome.
Co-founded by professional singers, Fergus Cahillane, Macdara Yeates and Dónal Kearney, together with the team at TSEAC, our new ‘TSEAC Singing Sessions’ are an informal space where all participants are encouraged to perform and share traditional songs in a relaxed environment (both in-person and online). If you feel like contributing a song, please make it known to our host and they will do their best to accommodate all singers on the night, both in the room and online.
Each month will also feature an invited special guest singer who will also take to the stage. So far our guests include Kevin Conneff (The Chieftains), Gerry Cullen (The Voice Squad), Niamh Bury (Claddagh Records), Ruth Clinton (Landless).
If singing isn’t for you and you prefer to just listen, you’re very welcome to come along. We provide refreshments from The Cottage Café from 6:30pm and you can enjoy the music in our atmospheric, candlelit theatre. Or if you prefer, you can join us via Zoom for our live-stream. Whichever way you choose to join, the session starts at 7pm sharp and we finish promptly at 9pm.
Doors & complimentary refreshments will be available from 18:30
Our Traditional Singing Sessions are FREE to attend however, places are limited so booking is essential.
