Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Tutti Viola.

This is a full-time, contract position. Annual salary: £32,684

Single round unaccompanied auditions will be held in Bournemouth on the following dates:
– Thursday 22 September
– Monday 26 September

Audition requirements:
– a movement (including cadenza, if appropriate) from a major viola concerto (i.e.: Bartok, Walton or Hindemith), but not Telemann
– a movement from Stamitz or Hoffmeister
– orchestral excerpts will be sent to those musicians invited to audition
– sight-reading may be given
