
Making Music in Clare: The Music Network Teaching Residency
Music Network, in partnership with glór and Clare Arts Office, is inviting applications from Co. Clare residents aged 60 and over to participate in a traditional music project.
The residency will run from June to August 2025 and provide free tuition on fiddle, accordion, concertina, bouzouki, guitar, banjo, or mandolin. The project focuses on returning to music and enjoying group music-making, with eight one-to-one instrumental lessons, group sessions, and ensemble performances. Instruments are provided if needed.
Applicants must have prior musical experience and be available for all scheduled dates. The residency will be held at glór arts centre in Ennis. Applications close at 2pm on 28 May 2025.
