Waterford City and County Council is offering the Waterford Arts Practice Grant for 2024. The grant is an integral part of the Council’s commitment to supporting artists, arts creators, and professional community arts services in line with the ‘A Shared Vision for Waterford Arts’ outlined in the Waterford City and County Arts Strategy 2016–2022.

The grant aims to align with three key themes: Participation & Access, Support for Artists, and Identity and Place. Adhering to Section 6 of the 2003 Arts Act, this funding opportunity is designed to stimulate public interest in the arts, promote the appreciation and practice of the arts, and elevate standards within the arts sector.

Eligible applicants must be artists, arts groups, or organisations based in Waterford City & County’s administrative area, with a minimum of two years of existence. All projects should have a public presentation within Waterford.
