Ever wondered what six hands on one piano might sound like? Then why not come to the National Concert Hall John Field Room on 5th July to hear the wonderful performers, Máire Carroll, Billy O’Brien and Didzis Kalniņš featuring repertoire expressly designed for this unique arrangement, including Sergei Rachmaninoff's 'Two Pieces for Six Hands' (1890/91) and Carl Czerny's arrangement of Mozart's 'Overture to the Marriage of Figaro’. These exciting six-hand ensemble works will be interspersed with solo performances by these three good friends, celebrating the breadth and dynamism of the piano (the king of instruments)!
