University College Dublin’s College of Arts and Humanities is inviting applications for the 2025–2026 Joseph M. Hassett Creativity Bursary in Film.

The bursary offers €5,000 to support a film project that creatively engages with the UCD Cultural Heritage Collections. The bursary runs from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026 and includes an opportunity to present work at a College event. Applicants must submit a personal statement (maximum two pages), a CV, and the names of two referees, along with the official application form.

Applications should be sent by email to arts.humanities [at] ucd.ie by 5pm on Wednesday 11 June 2025.

The bursary is funded by the College of Arts and Humanities Support Fund and is named in honour of alumnus and Yeats scholar Dr Joseph M. Hassett.
