The BBC Concert Orchestra is seeking a Tutti Cello for a permanent, full-time position.

The role involves playing in a professional orchestral environment, maintaining high musical standards, and contributing to performances across a range of repertoire. The successful candidate will be expected to support the orchestra’s leaders and participate in the full range of orchestra activities, including rehearsals, performances, and outreach. The position requires excellent orchestral playing skills, the ability to work flexibly within a diverse team, and a commitment to maintaining the BBC’s standards. Applicants should have professional orchestral experience and a good knowledge of the orchestra’s repertoire. The role includes evening and weekend work, and travel throughout the UK.
