The BBC Concert Orchestra is seeking a Principal Viola (No2) for a permanent, full-time position.

The role involves performing as the principal viola, leading the section when required, and maintaining the highest musical standards. The successful candidate will have exceptional orchestral and solo viola playing ability, experience in leading a section, and effective team management skills. The position requires travel throughout the UK, evening and weekend work, and participation in the orchestra’s diverse activities. Applicants should be prepared to lead, inspire, and collaborate with a range of musicians.
