Glyndebourne is recruiting for an Artistic Projects Manager to work within their Learning & Engagement team. This role reports to the Head of Learning & Engagement and will oversee the management of diverse artistic projects that cater to the wider audience and target underrepresented communities. The nature of the projects under this portfolio will evolve based on the organisational needs.

The Artistic Projects Manager will collaborate with departments like Communications, Development, Technical and Learning & Engagement. This position demands thorough research, community engagement, feasibility studies, and establishing partnerships. The successful candidate will be required to manage projects, coordinate with Glyndebourne’s technical teams, ensure health & safety compliance, manage project budgets, and engage in internal and external communications related to project activities.

Candidates should have experience in arts or participatory arts projects, have knowledge of arts education in music, theatre, and opera, and possess strong project management skills. The role may require evening and weekend commitments, including travel with the Glyndebourne Tour. The position is based in Lewes, East Sussex, but offers flexibility for partial remote work. The position offers a salary of £32,000 per annum and comes with various benefits.
