The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is recruiting a full-time Lecturer in Performance Design. The post supports the new BA Performance Design programme launching in September 2025. Responsibilities include teaching computer-aided design (CAD) for performance, as well as Procreate and Adobe Photoshop. The role also involves overseeing student studio practice and projects, contributing to curriculum development, assessing work, providing pastoral care, and participating in the selection of students and staff. Applicants must have a degree in performance or theatre design or scenography, significant professional experience, and experience teaching in higher education. Strong digital and craft-based design skills are required. The position is permanent, based at Milton Court, London, and includes a salary of £47,620–£53,310 per annum (inclusive of Inner London Weighting).
