Following a recent restructure of the organisation Music in the Round is recruiting for the new position of Head of Programmes.

This is an exciting time to join us as we focus on fully integrating all our activity in Sheffield and around the country with our award-winning Learning & Participation programme. Liaising with our resident musicians, Ensemble 360, and guest artists to put on our year-round programme, this role also takes the lead on developing Learning & Participation activity. Working alongside and collaborating with a dedicated team of staff and superb musicians, the Head of Programmes has the potential to make a huge impact on the chamber music scene across the country.

We are looking for a someone who will provide the inspiration for musicians, audiences and communities to share and develop a deep connection with Music in the Round and our programme. Passion, intellect, insight, musical talent and charisma will be required, as well as a willingness to work in collaboration with a range of partners.

We think that the best organisations have a diversity of voices, and welcome applications from anyone regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.
