The Arts Council of Ireland will open applications for the Film Bursary Award 2025 on 7 January 2025. The award provides up to €20,000 to professional individual artists at any career stage, supporting time and resources for research, reflection, and critical engagement with their practice.

The deadline for applications is 17:30 on Thursday, 13 February 2025. Submissions will only be accepted through the Arts Council’s Online Services platform. Artists must register for Online Services in advance, allowing up to five working days for registration processing.
