BBC Audio is recruiting a Production Management Assistant.

BBC Audio makes original content for outlets including Radio 4, Radio 3, World Service and BBC Sounds. You will be working with teams of the Production staff who make daily programmes including Woman’s Hour, Front Row and Outlook, and weekly programmes including Media Show, Last Word, The Film Programme, and Inside Science. The department also makes documentaries, series and podcasts.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Management Assistant will assist the Production Manager’s and production teams to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business. Day to day tasks would include studio & workshop bookings, tracking and maintaining tx schedules, managing IT and phone assets, assisting with production paperwork and music reporting in Proteus, liaising with Facilities Management and Atos, ordering stationery, allocating production equipment, and being on hand to assist the Heads of Department when required.

Are you the right candidate?
The ideal candidate would be pro-active, have good organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritise and be a good team player. You will have proven experience of providing administrative support, demonstrable experience of working collaboratively and supporting a team and well-developed written and verbal communication skills. An interest in spoken word Radio would be an advantage.
