The Irish Chamber Orchestra (ICO) is recruiting an Orchestra Leader to join its ensemble, resident at the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance, University of Limerick. The role involves leading the orchestra in national and international performances across a repertoire ranging from baroque to contemporary and Irish music. Applicants should be accomplished violinists with leadership experience in a chamber or symphonic context. The position includes work with ICO’s Artistic Partner Henning Kraggerud and visiting artists.

Closing date for applications is 1 July 2025 at 23:59. Auditions and interviews will take place in mid-October at the ICO Studio, University of Limerick.
