The Sound of Ireland is an eight-day radio station that celebrates Irish music, culture, heritage, and language. It will air from March 11th to March 18th on FM in Dublin and online worldwide. The Sound of Ireland features a soundtrack of the best Irish music, from Pillow Queens to The Chieftains. It will showcase the stories of Irish trailblazers who changed the worlds of music, sport, literature, and science. The station will also highlight weird and wonderful Irish inventions and cultural icons. It will take a dive into Irish history, heritage, and language and will feature the voices of the Irish diaspora.

The Sound of Ireland first launched in March 2022 and is partnering again this year with the Department of Foreign Affairs as official sponsor and Christmas FM as a media partner.

Listeners can tune in to The Sound of Ireland via various platforms, such as https://thesoundofireland.com/ online, on smart speakers, and on 94.3FM in Dublin. They can also use the Christmas FM App or TuneIn on desktop and mobile to listen to the station.
