Music Education Specialist (full-time)

The Irish Institute of Music and Song seeks to employ a full-time Music Education specialist to teach, develop music syllabi, and deliver various courses, workshops, conferences, camps and seminars.

This position requires an individual with significant experience of achieving and delivering results in music education development and teaching in combination with significant youth work experience and expertise in working with students of all ages.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about music education at all levels and ages. They will have a combination of initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, and an infectious passion for the transformative role music education can have across all members of society.

The Music Education Specialist will feel comfortable teaching in both individual and group settings and will have the ability to adapt teaching styles to fit the needs of children, teenagers, young adults (third-level courses) and older persons.

The role of Education Specialist offers a rewarding opportunity for a dynamic educator to join an ambitious team in Ireland’s most unique and remarkable arts organisation. It will be based on our campus on Church Street, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
