International Residency Initiatives Scheme

International Residency Initiatives Scheme

Thursday, 6 April 2023, 5.30pm

This scheme is designed to support art organisations in delivering residency initiatives and creating opportunities for transnational exchange and cooperation across all art forms. The focus is on facilitating diverse residency programmes that involve partnerships with organisations based abroad, providing a supportive framework for international mobility and professional development of artists and art practitioners.

The scheme is open to organisations working in all art forms and practices, based in the Republic of Ireland, and able to demonstrate the active involvement of at least one partner organisation based abroad. The emphasis is on enabling art organisations to initiate or consolidate collaborative frameworks with partners based abroad to deliver residency initiatives that benefit artists and the public. Each proposal can be tailored to respond flexibly to the specific needs of each partnership, art form, and artistic goals.

Organisations may submit only one application as a lead applicant each year.
