The British Library is hiring a Content Developer to join its Music Collections Team at St Pancras. This is a 20-month, full-time fixed-term role, offering a salary of £28,119 per annum.

The role involves delivering Discovering Music: Classical and Romantic, an online resource exploring music from 1750 to 1914. Responsibilities include researching and interpreting source materials, developing classroom resources and events for secondary schools, coordinating digitisation work, and managing digital content through the Library’s Content Management System. The post-holder will also create social media content to broaden the resource’s reach.

Applicants must have experience in writing or researching music, proficiency with Content Management Systems, and strong editorial and web-authoring skills. Excellent communication and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
