Friday, 14 February
8.30pm – 10.00pm
Official Opening: Harry Hughes introduces Peadar Ó Riada for the Clare Launch of “Ceoltóirí Chualann: The Band that changed the course of Irish Music”. Followed by music with Peadar Ó Riada, Eamon McGivney and John Kelly (The Drôle).
Venue: Community Centre.
Admission: €10. Free for registered students.

10.00pm
Cosán Ceoil in selected pubs, with some of the leading concertina players and other musicians.
Admission free. Fáilte roimh chách.

Saturday, 15 February
9.00am
Grading for classes at Miltown Malbay Community Centre.

10.00am – 1.00pm (Short Break 11.15am)
Classes at Community Centre and St. Joseph’s National School.
Master class with Noel Hill. Pre-registration required.

All classes will be overseen by Master Tutor Noel Hill and conducted by a panel of experienced musicians and tutors: Colm Browne, Sorcha Curtin, Edel Fox, Bernie Geraghty, Noel Hill, Aoife Kelly, Jacqueline McCarthy, Mary MacNamara, Caoilfhionn Ní Fhrighil, Liam O’Brien, Conor O’Loughlin, Michelle O’Sullivan, Aidan Quigney and Jack Talty.

2.30pm – 3.30pm
Lecture: Claire Keville “There was no tune at all at all in good land” – The Concertina Music of Gerdie Commane.
Admission €5. Free for registered students.

3.30pm – 4.30pm
Open Junior Session: led by Bríd O’Donohue and Colm Browne
Venue: St. Joseph’s National School.
Admission free. Fáilte roimh chách.

3.30pm – 4.30pm
Open Intermediate Session (under 18s in advanced or master class): led by Bernie Geraghty and Aoife Kelly.
Venue: Community Centre.
Admission free. Fáilte roimh chách.

3.30pm – 5.00pm
Open Adult Session: led by Claire Keville and John Weir.
Venue: Friels Bar.
Admission free. Fáilte roimh chách.

5.00pm – 6.00pm
The Listening Room: Noel Hill, Jack Talty and Sorcha Costello.
This event will be recorded for ITMA.
Venue: Westbridge Bar & Restaurant.
Admission €10. Free for registered students.

8.30pm – 10.00pm
CONCERT:
Liam O’Brien, Deirdre Hurley and Pádraig Ó Dubhghaill, followed by GARADICE with special guest Tom Morrow.
Fear an Tí: Tim Dennehy.
This event will be recorded for ITMA.
Venue: Community Centre.
Admission €25. Cruinniú students €10.

Venue: The Forge at The Players Bar.
Admission free. Fáilte roimh chách.

Kevin Costello will be available for Concertina repairs in The Community Centre on Saturday and Sunday.

Fee: For two days’ tuition and admission to all events. (Except Saturday Night Concert)
Early Bird Registration: €70. Students must register and pay by 31st January 2025 to avail of this.
