Applications for the Writers in Schools Scheme are currently being accepted for autumn 2020. The scheme, which is operated by Poetry Ireland, part-funds visits by writers and storytellers to schools throughout the island of Ireland.

This scheme is co-funded by the Arts Council but administered by Poetry Ireland.

The induction process for eligible applicants includes an interview, training, garda vetting, and participation in a mentoring programme.
