Opera North is currently seeking a seasoned and enthusiastic musician for the position of Section Principal Double Bass. This opportunity arises as Opera North approaches a new phase with upcoming Company and Orchestral leadership. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate dynamic musicianship and a strong motivation towards their craft.

The role offers a salary of £41,754 per annum. Interested applicants should be aware that auditions are scheduled for the 6th and 13th of November 2023. To ensure participation in these auditions, early application is advised, as priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. If necessary, additional auditions may be conducted in early 2024. The deadline for all applications is Sunday, 31 December 2023.
