The Royal Academy of Music are seeking an Events Coordinator to provide high quality events coordination to the Advancement team and Head of Special Events. This coordination includes high-profile donor engagement events, the Academy’s annual Graduation ceremonies and a series of bespoke events throughout the year. This is an exciting new role as we approach the Academy’s bicentenary.

To be successful in this role, you will need previous hands-on event experience, along with the ability to work effectively both on own initiative and as part of a team. You will need to plan and organise your work effectively and be confident and proactive. Much of the work will involve liaison with a wide range of individuals so you will need to have well developed communication skills and the ability to balance tact with assertiveness amid conflicting priorities.

It is essential that the role holder has a good sense of judgement and discretion together with very strong attention to detail.
