A Christmas carol concert in aid of MS Ireland

Let us help you get into the Christmas spirit this year! Ascolta is an eight-voice choral ensemble based in Dublin. We are a group of singers who share a passion for music and love singing together. We are delighted to be returning to Newman University Church for our 2024 Christmas Concert, Coventry Carols, which will include sacred and secular Christmas hymns and carols that we all know and love!

This year’s programme explores four contemporary settings of the common Christmas text, Coventry Carol (or Lully Lullay) by Philip Stopford, Audrey Snyder, Ola Gjeilo and Michael McGlynn along with beloved festive tunes such as The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, White Christmas, Carol of the Bells and more. Featuring composers such as Gustav Holst, Matthew Culloton, Kim André Arnesen, Dan Forrest, Laura Sheils and Rhona Clarke, we’re sure to have something for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets are available online or at the door (cash or card accepted). All profits made from this event will be donated directly to MS Ireland, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland (RCN: 20007867).
