ITMA presents an evening of traditional music, song and dance from four of Ireland's leading contemporary traditional artists: Grammy-nominated Gloaming singer Iarla Ó Lionáird, RTÉ Folk Instrumentalist of the Year 2024 Aoife Ní Bhriain (fiddle), Dé Dannan alumnus Derek Hickey (accordion) and Sean Nós dancer Stephanie Keane.

These artists have engaged with ITMA’s artistic programmes, including its flagship series Drawing from the Well, an initiative which connects artists with archival materials to inspire new art. Examples of the artists’ new work is freely available to view online here.

Drawing from the Well luminaries include Christy Moore, Radie Peat, Martin Hayes, Brían MacGloinn (Ye Vagabonds), Louise Mulcahy, Cormac Begley and Steve Cooney.

As well as Dún Laoghaire, the Drawing from the Well Concert Tour will visit venues in Connemara, Dingle, Belfast, Carrick-on-Shannon and Ratoath.
