Three Rivers Academy seeks a Head of Music to join the school in September. 

The person the school is looking for will be proactive and committed; they will work in a thriving department that has been hailed as an example of good practice not only as a department within Three Rivers Academy but in terms of delivering Arts in Education as a whole. You will be creative, hardworking and determined with a sense of fun and a positive outlook. You will be expected to be up to date with current thinking about music in education and show an ability to add innovative ideas and new resource material to the department

Job Purpose 
• To ensure that all staff within the department provide inspirational high-quality Teaching and Learning that supports students in making accelerated progress.
• To provide inspirational leadership and develop a high performing team which delivers outstanding outcomes for students
• To lead and promote activities that support the improvement priorities of the school
• To consistently maintain and model the Teacher Standards
