General Manager
The complex is hiring a General Manager.
Role and responsibilities:
– The primary part of the role is to manage the office and the security of the building
– Oversee the efficient presentation and signing of licences for studio artists
– Manage all contracts for visiting artists/companies/organisations
– Work with the AD to procure funding from Government Departments, Creative Ireland, Dublin City Council, Arts Council, the Social Innovation Fund and others.
– Work in collaboration with the AD and the relevant Board members to procure a sponsor or CSR contributions
– Manage all in-house production budgets
– Devise and oversee marketing campaigns with the marketing assistants and interns assigned to the task of implementation.
– Manage the Administration Assistant and the Marketing Assistant
– Compile and deliver all invoices and receipts
– Ensure the timely payments of incoming rents and venue hire
– Manage cashflow
– Keep basic accounts and liaise with the auditor
– Deliver quarterly management accounts to the Treasurer
– Administer the weekly payroll
– Pay rent, utility and service bills
Essential
– Three year’s professional experience as an arts manager
– Knowledge of multiple artforms
– Flexible attitude to working environment
– Advanced IT skills
– Self-Motivation and high standards
– Strong contact base
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
