Development Manager (Part-time)

Reporting to the CEO, the Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a fundraising strategy for the organisation and will lead on Helium Arts fundraising activity.

The post-holder will have responsibility for generating income across a range of sources, with a particular focus on securing multi-annual agreements and grants from corporate partnerships, government agencies and major gifts. Securing income from other sources such as individual giving, community fundraising and earned income will also fall under the Development Manager’s remit. This role will be a part of Helium Arts management team and as such the post-holder will provide leadership and support in the overall management of the organisation.

Helium Arts are seeking an individual with at least three years of progressive and measurable proven experience in fundraising, ideally with direct experience of developing and implementing a fundraising strategy within a small to medium sized organisation.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, adaptable, organised and an astute relationship manager with the ability to manage and cultivate relationships with a range of key stakeholders. They will also have a genuine interest in the arts and in the work of Helium Arts.  Applications from candidates with a background in fundraising, business development, sales and marketing are welcome.
