International Uilleann Piping Day 2022

International Uilleann Piping Day is a global celebration of the unique Irish pipes or ‘uilleann pipes’. This year's events will take place around the world on Saturday 5th November 2022.

This co-ordinated day of piping activity is aimed at raising awareness of this iconic Irish instrument. Events will be held online or in person.

As in previous years, piping recitals, exhibitions, online broadcasts and discussions explaining the instrument and how it is made will take place across different time zones.

In Dublin, Na Píobairí Uilleann will be holding a recital in HQ, 15 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1 at 8pm - admission free! The recital will features performances from three highly established uilleann pipers - Mick O'Brien, Deirdre Mullally and Pádraig McGovern. No booking is required.

Come along and enjoy a great night full of wonderful piping!
