A new series of ‘Up Close with Music’ begins at the RHA Gallery on Sunday 25 January. The musical events, presented by renowned contemporary music ensemble Concorde, take place on Sunday afternoons from 2.30 – 4.30 pm, and present music of our time by composers from Ireland and around the world.
Performers in the January concert are: Madeleine Staunton, flutes; Paul Roe, clarinets; Elaine Clark, violin; Martin Johnson, cello and Paul Kiernan, trumpet – Concorde’s student performer for the season, DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama.
RHA Gallery exhibitions feature new work by artists Michael Cullen, Nick Miller, Mark Garry, Amelia Stein and Mollie Douthit from January 16. The concert will take place in the Ryan Gallery, where RHA New Acquisitions will be on show. Coppa Cafe is open from 12 Noon, serving Italian snacks, wine and coffees.
