Whirligig IV

OKO, Thought-Fox, Umbra and Zoiband will each perform a stylistically diverse set in the latest instalment of Whirligig, a series of concerts that has thus far presented a mixture of acoustic improvisation and traditional jazz.

On Wednesday 3 November, the IMC presents Whirligig IV Guaranteed Irish — four young Irish jazz bands in the Grand Social, Dublin.

OKO, Thought-Fox, Umbra and Zoiband will each perform a stylistically diverse set in the latest instalment of Whirligig, a series of concerts that has thus far presented a mixture of acoustic improvisation and traditional jazz.

Thought-Fox are led by Lauren Kinsella (pictured), just finished a recent nationwide Music Network tour and are confirmed for the London Jazz Festival on 17 November.

OKO is an instrumental quartet led by guitarist Shane Latimer, that recently performed at the Kilkenny Arts Festival.
