Scoring for Film 2013

IMRO are calling for composers to apply for a collaborative project with filmmakers for a one day recording session with the RTÉ National Concert Orchestra.

The Irish Music Rights Organisation in association with the Contemporary Music Centre and FÁS, are calling for applicants for their Film Scoring Project 2013. The project brings together composers and filmmakers to explore all aspects of scoring music for film, resulting in a one-day recording session with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

Interested composers should send CVs and examples of past work, outlining experience in scoring for film, TV or animation. This experience, though not required, is an advantage, though the ability to score for a full orchestra, and work to a strict deadline are essential.

Closing date for applications is 1 October 2012. Applications can be sent to the following address:
