Music Educators’ Orchestra

Although centered in Dublin, the Music Educators’ Orchestra has deliberately scheduled its rehearsals to take place just one Sunday afternoon each month in order to accommodate teachers and artists from all over the country.

The Music Educators’ Orchestra is a new group that is open to people from all musical backgrounds, of all abilities, playing any instrument. The goal of the orchestra is to provide a creative outlet for people working in music education and related fields.

Although centered in Dublin, the Music Educators’ has deliberately scheduled its rehearsals to take place just one Sunday afternoon each month in order to accommodate teachers and artists from all over the country.

It offers members the opportunity to keep up their musical skills, develop new ones and to bring new ideas to their work.
Rehearsals take place in St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, facilitated by composer Peter Moran.
