Hugo Ticciati NewSoundWorlds Concert

The violinist Hugo Ticciati performs as part of NewSoundWorlds on 21 March at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.

NewSoundWorlds is a monthly concert series curated by Siobhan Cleary and presented by Ireland Promoting New Music.

The series returns on 21 March to the Kevin Barry Room of the National Concert Hall in Dublin, for a concert with the violinist and modern music specialist Hugo Ticciati.

The programme for the concert is as fascinating and diverse as ever, featuring as it does Toru Takemitsu’s Hika, Béla Bartók’s Violin Sonata No. 2, George Crumb’s Four Nocturnes, Esaias Järnegard’s Stretto, Witold Lutoslawski’s Partita, and the first movement from John Adams’ Road Movies.

Tickets are €15 and €8 with concessions.
