Crash Announce Details of First Project Arts Centre Concert
Crash ensemble have announced details of their first concert as Project Arts Centre's ensemble-in-residence, to feature music by Glenn Branca and Kevin Volans.
Crash ensemble have announced details of its first concert as Dublin’s Project Arts Centre ensemble in residence, to take place on 2 November.
Entitled ‘Thought’ after the Glenn Branca piece which will be receiving its world premiere at the concert, and on behalf of which Crash recently launched a Fund it campaign, the programme also features a world premiere from Kevin Volans, Looping Point, alongside music by Nico Muhly (Drones, Variations, Ornaments, which was written for Crash) and Donnacha Dennehy (Disposable Dissonance, re-written for Crash).
Crash’s recording of Volans’ Trumpet, Vibe, Cello, Piano can be downloaded for free on the ensemble’s Bandcamp page.
