The Department of Music at the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Composition and Audio Production beginning Fall 2019.  Expectations include, but are not limited to, teaching, research, student advisement, college service, and continuing professional development. The Department of Music at SUNY Oneonta, offering BA Music and BA Music Industry degrees, is a fully accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) and has long been recognized for its Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry degree program, with outstanding faculty, recording facilities, and internships. 

Duties include but not limited to:  teaching undergraduate courses in audio production, media production and scoring, and composition; involvement with the curriculum and administration of the composition and audio arts program; working with studio assistants and the instructional support technician. Other duties may include music electives or courses that address other curricular needs.
