Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill: The Feakle Festival concert is legendary among their fans.“This concert is the most challenging and satisfying I do every year,” says Martin, “it has the most discerning audience and there is no where to hide, as a result I consider it the most vital one in my schedule.” Martin’s soulful interpretation of traditional Irish music is critically acclaimed the world over for its exquisite musicality and irresistible rhythms. Together with Dennis they have toured and recorded for over twenty years, redefining the music for their generation yet always remaining true to its roots.

Mary MacNamara, Sorcha Costello and Geraldine Cotter: Mary is one of the most eminent concertina players of the past few decades, schooled in the music of her native East Clare from an early age her playing captures the listener to the very last note.  She has also cultivated an equally important role as a teacher and mentor, particularly in encouraging young people to learn about and play traditional music. Mary is joined by her daughter Sorcha on fiddle. Mary and Sorcha have been playing music together since Sorcha was a young child. Over the years they have enjoyed an innate understanding of each other’s music. Their CD “the Lady’s Cup of Tea” captures the magical empathy that results from such a musical bond. They will be accompanied by Dr. Geraldine Cotter on piano.

Cherish the Ladies with Don Stiffe: Under the leadership of the dynamic flute and whistle player, Joanie Madden, the band creates a performance that includes a spectacular blend of virtuoso instrument talents, beautiful vocals and captivating arrangements. Don Stiffe is singer/songwriter from Galway who’s singing prowess is up there with the greats that Ireland has produced.
