Tickets are available now for the opening concert of the third Ortús Chamber Music Festival.
The Artistic Directors, Mairéad Hickey, violin, and Sinéad O'Halloran, cello, will be joined by flautist, Fiona Kelly, pianist, Ellen Jansson, violist, Cian Ó Dúill, cellist Aoife Nic Athloaoich and violinist Brendan Garde. For the first time for this festival, these fine musicians will collaborate with international guests Dutch cellist, Ella van Poucke and French violinist Yoan Brakha.
This concert will feature a Mozart piano trio, Brahms Piano Quintet in F minor, together with works by Duruflé and a world première of a new work by Irish composer Ian Wilson.
