Bucks New University is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer who would take on the role of course leader for a Music & Live Event Management degree within the School of Media & Creative Industries at Buckinghamshire New University. Applicants will be expected either to have established a subject-relevant research profile or to be able demonstrate equivalent industry-based credentials. HE teaching experience would be beneficial, and a Masters-level qualification essential. 

The appointee must demonstrate a current working knowledge of the events and live music industries, as the applied degree incorporates major externally-facing events. Subject knowledge should include essential facets such as licensing legislation, health and safety, risk assessment, venue and event marketing, local authority management and insights into key roles such as the work of agents and promoters.
